Bentonsport Spring Fest

Demonstrations by the local blacksmith, rug weaving and pottery demonstrations throughout the day. Enjoy the various vendors set up along the riverside park with crafts, antiques, flea market treasures, flowers, plants and gifts.
Food stands will be serving hand made tenderloins, turkey legs, grilled steak and chicken, kettle corn, lemonade and several other items to choose from.

Bentonsport Historic District is a small village that consists of a scenic park along the Des Moines River with several historic 1840's buildings filled with hand made crafts, pottery, gems & jewelry, hand loomed rugs, fudge, artwork, antiques, and gifts. There are B&B's and campgrounds to stay at and the Indian Artifact Museum is filled with over 4,000 arrowheads displayed on various wood patterns that make this a popular attraction for visitors.

Visitors comment on Bentonsport as a hidden treasure due to its park atmosphere and rich history making visitors feel like they walked back in time.
